This purpose-built door lets fuel into the basket but stops it draining back out, so lower fuel levels can be run without starving the engine, saving weight. It is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, anodized bright-dip black, and fitted with a Viton O-ring suited to both ethanol and gasoline.

It is not a surge tank replacement and will not allow the tank to be run dry. It only keeps the basket from draining in left turns, which lets less fuel be carried before starvation occurs.

What's included

(1) Fuel Starvation Door

(1) Viton O-Ring

Fitment

2013–2016 Scion FR-S

2013–2020 Subaru BRZ

2015–2021 Subaru WRX

2015–2021 Subaru WRX STI

2017–2020 Toyota 86

Details

Manufacturer: Verus Engineering

Part number: A0118A

Shipping weight: 1 lb

Installation instructions are available in the Verus Engineering install manual library.
