Overview

The Ventus package for the Porsche 718 GT4 comes in two levels, and both are designed to add performance while keeping the balance of your factory warranty.

Ventus 1 is the entry-level package. Dual-element carbon dive planes add front downforce and improve front fender evacuation, while rear diffuser panels contain the horseshoe vortices off the rear wheels when the large factory muffler is swapped for an aftermarket exhaust, so the factory center diffuser gets clean air. The result is more downforce with a fairly stock, OEM+ look.

Ventus 2 adds a substantial increase in downforce for a small drag penalty and better overall lift-to-drag efficiency than OEM or Ventus 1. It replaces the factory wing with the Verus UCW rear wing, derived from the V1X airfoil, and adds a carbon polyweave front splitter sized to work with the dive planes and balance the wing and diffuser panels.

All parts were developed from in-house scan data, CAD and CFD analysis for an OEM-like fit and finish, and Verus reports strong correlation between its CFD and real-world test data.
