Overview

This turbo heat shield for the B58 engine keeps heat around the turbine and manifold area and frees up engine bay space. It replaces the factory resonator and heat shield, and it also helps limit heat soak when the car runs an aftermarket intake. Verus Engineering designed it from in-house scan data for an OE-like fit.

The shield is 2.0 mm 304 stainless sheet, CNC laser cut, press brake formed and finished in high-temp Cerakote, and it bolts on with stainless hardware. Known fitment covers the Z4 (G29), M240i (G42), M440 (G22/G23), M340i/M340ix (G20) and the X3 (G01) with the B58 from 2020 on only.
