Air Oil Separator (AOS) - Honda Civic Type R (FL5)

Overview

This air oil separator for the FL5 Honda Civic Type R catches oil vapor from the crankcase before it reaches the intake, where oil lowers octane and can cause detonation, power loss, and carbon build-up. Four 5-micron coalescing filters cover the inlets and outlets, working with baffling and stainless mesh to separate the oil, and a drain plug makes emptying it quick. An optional coolant add-on kit is available.

The body is CNC machined in Indianapolis from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized black, blue, or red. It comes with a no-drill bracket for left-hand-drive cars, hoses cut to length, and stainless hardware and fittings. Engine bay heat can gradually dull the anodized color.
