Air Oil Separator (AOS) - ND Miata

Overview

This air-oil separator keeps oil out of the intake system, where it lowers octane and can cause detonation, lost power and carbon deposits on the intake valves. Crankcase air passes through four 5-micron coalescing filters, internal baffles, and ultrasonically cleaned stainless mesh. The CNC machined 6061-T6 body has mil-spec O-ring bosses and is anodized black, blue or red. It arrives fully assembled and pressure tested, with a drain valve.

It fits ND1 and ND2 cars, and installation requires removing the sound tube if present. 2023 models without one need slightly different hose routing. Anodized parts may fade over time from engine bay heat.
