Overview
This air oil separator keeps oil out of the intake on the FA24-powered VB Subaru WRX. Oil in the intake lowers effective octane and can lead to detonation, lost power and carbon build-up. Four 5 micron coalescing filters, one on each inlet and outlet, along with baffling inside the can and stainless mesh clean the crankcase air.
Verus Engineering offers optional drain-back and coolant add-on kits, and the can comes anodized in black, blue or red. Heat in the engine bay may cause the anodized finish to fade with time. It is for manual transmission cars only; cars with the CVT/SPT transmission are not supported.
