Overview
These wind deflectors for the G87 BMW M2 reduce the loud buffeting that occurs when driving with the windows down, such as during a track day. Each two-piece deflector is built from several pieces of 2x2 twill 3k pre-preg carbon fiber, bonded together, autoclave cured, and finished in high-gloss automotive clear. In-house scan data set the contour around the side mirror bases, and CFD confirmed they add no unnecessary drag and do not disturb other aero parts. They attach with 3M VHB double-sided tape.
