Overview

These wind deflectors address the strong buffeting the Mk5 Toyota Supra develops at speed with the windows down. Each is a two-piece unit made of 2x2 twill 3k pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured and finished in high-gloss automotive clear, and they attach with 3M VHB double-sided tape.

Scan data from a shop car was used to contour them to the side mirror bases. CFD analysis confirmed that they do their job without adding needless drag or disturbing the car's other aerodynamic devices, and the carbon also freshens the exterior look.
