Brake Master Cylinder Brace - Honda Civic CTR (FL5)

Overview

On the FL5 Honda Civic Type R, the thin firewall sheet metal flexes when the brake pedal is pressed, allowing the master cylinder to move and making the pedal feel vague on track. This brace is meant to cut that movement, and Verus Engineering measured about 76% less deflection than the OEM arrangement.

It is machined in-house on 5-axis CNC equipment in Indianapolis from 6061-T6 aluminum, with a 303 stainless adjuster and stainless hardware. The finish is bright dip anodized in black, blue, or red, with a laser-engraved logo, and the install is simple and non-invasive. It fits left-hand-drive cars only, and the anodized color may fade from engine bay heat.
