Overview
This carbon hood louver for the G87 BMW M2 vents engine bay heat and pressure, which helps the cooling stack, extends the life of under-hood components, and adds a little front downforce. It is made from pre-preg 2x2 twill carbon fiber cured in an autoclave. Scan data shaped it to the hood contour, and CFD placed it in a low-pressure area while removing minimal hood structure, so the hood keeps its structural integrity. A paper template is included for cutting the hood opening, along with 3M VHB double-sided tape.
