Dive Plane (Canard) Kit - Honda Civic Type R (FL5)

Overview

This carbon dive plane (canard) kit for the FL5 Honda Civic Type R adds front-end downforce with very little added drag. The pair works together to help pull air out of the front wheel wells while producing downforce of their own, shifting the aero balance forward for better front grip on track. Verus designed them in CAD from in-house scan data and refined them with CFD.

They give a safe aero balance on their own, but Verus recommends pairing them with the AOA Adjustment Kit for a balanced setup; together they make up the Ventus 1 package, aimed at daily-driven cars. The planes are pre-preg, autoclave-cured 2x2 twill carbon with a polished high-gloss finish, and install with pre-cut 3M VHB tape and precision templates for an OE-like fit, with no drilling.
