Flat Underbody Panel Kit - Miata MX5 (ND)

Overview

Continuing where Mazda left off, these panels close the open sections of the ND Miata's underbody. The middle of a car produces considerable drag, so filling those gaps lowers drag, improves fuel economy, and lets the front splitter and rear diffuser work better. Design used analysis software and in-house scan data for a near-OEM fit.

The panels are CNC cut and press brake bent from 5052 aluminum, powdercoated black, and installed with stainless hardware. They are not compatible with cars fitted with an automatic transmission.
