Hood Louver Kit (GT Hood Spec) - Ford Mustang S550 (2015-2017)

Overview

Intended for the GT-spec hood on the 2015-2017 S550 Mustang, this louver kit improves airflow out of the engine bay, which helps air pass through the radiator and charge air cooler. Lower pressure under the hood also reduces front lift for a slight downforce bump. Scan data and CFD placed the vents in a low-pressure area that follows the hood's contours and leaves most of the underhood structural metal intact.

The vents are CNC laser cut from 0.063-inch 6061 aluminum, with black powdercoat available, and are held by stainless flush clinch studs and serrated nuts. The modified hood weighs less than most carbon vented hoods.
