Hood Louver Kit - Miata MX5 (ND)

Overview

This hood louver kit for the ND Miata lets air escape from the engine bay, improving flow through the radiator and condenser and lowering underhood pressure and temperature. Less pressure also reduces front lift for a slight downforce gain. Verus Engineering used scan data and CFD to place the vents in a low-pressure spot that follows the hood's contours, and the modified hood weighs less than most carbon hoods.

The vents are CNC laser cut from 0.063-inch 6061 aluminum, in gloss black powdercoat or raw aluminum. A cut-out template and wickers are included, and stainless clinch studs let the vents be removed for cleaning.
