Overview

This block-off plate seals the factory hood scoop on the 2015+ VA WRX and STI. Closing the scoop lowers underhood pressure, which otherwise causes front-end lift and restricts airflow through a front mount intercooler and radiator, so cooling improves. It is aimed at owners who have removed the factory or aftermarket top mount intercooler, and it also helps keep the engine bay cleaner and drier.

The panel is CNC laser cut and bent from 1.6mm 5052 aluminum, finished in black powder coat with a laser-engraved logo, and made in the U.S.A. Installation is quick and needs no cutting or drilling.
