Overview
This bolt-on air dam for the VA Subaru WRX/STI seals the gap between the front splitter and the bumper. Stopping high-pressure air from getting through raises the pressure difference across the splitter, and the smoother flow around the bumper also helps add-ons such as dive planes work better. It suits track and spirited street driving.
The dam is CNC laser cut from 5052 aluminum, powdercoated black and installed with stainless hardware, and it follows the OE bumper contour. It is a direct fit on facelift (2018 and later) bumpers. On 2015-2017 bumpers it may work after some trimming and removal of the rearmost mounting tab. Made in the U.S.A.
