Overview
The V1X swan neck rear wing is a bolt-on carbon fiber wing for the Corvette Stingray (C8) that adds a large amount of rear downforce, builds confidence on track, and cuts lap times. Its longer chord and wider profile give it far more downforce capacity than the UCW; at 2 degrees of attack it out-produces the UCW at 12 degrees, with less drag. The airfoil was refined with ANSYS adjoint analysis, CFD, and wind tunnel testing.
The wing is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave cured with a high-gloss clear finish, with a 6061-T6 mounting kit machined in-house. The mounts sandwich the engine cover, and stainless hardware and templates are included.
