Swan Neck WCW Rear Wing Kit - Corvette Stingray and Z06 (C8)

Overview

The WCW swan neck rear wing is a wider-span version of Verus's UCW wing for the C8 Corvette. The longer span gives a higher aspect ratio, which Verus rates at about 8.3% more downforce than the UCW with only a small change in drag, shifting aero balance more than 12% rearward. The swan neck (top-mount) design keeps the underside of the wing clean for better efficiency than bottom-mount wings. The airfoil was developed with the ANSYS adjoint solver and CFD and refined in wind tunnel testing, and the wing offers 15 degrees of adjustment to balance large front aero like Verus's front splitter kits.

The wing is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave cured with an automotive high-gloss clear, on 6061-T6 aluminum uprights and mounts machined in-house on 5-axis CNC equipment. The mounts sandwich the engine cover for strength, were designed from in-house scan data for a near-OEM fit, and install with stainless hardware and templates. WCW wings are assembled to order and usually ship within 5 business days.
