Overview
The UCW is a rear wing for the BRZ, FRS and GT86 that sits between Verus Engineering's swan neck high-efficiency wing and its 300mm V1X airfoil. Its 250mm curved chord produces more downforce than the high-efficiency wing, and the airfoil was tuned with ANSYS adjoint analysis and checked with CFD.
The wing is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon fiber, autoclave cured with a high-gloss clear finish, carried by machined billet aluminum uprights and sheet steel trunk mounts with stainless hardware. It bolts to the OEM trunk and can generate and withstand over 500 lbs of downforce, suiting track cars with a large front aero package.
