Overview
The UCW is a rear wing for the Shelby GT350R that bolts to the factory trunk using existing holes. Its airfoil is derived from the V1X and refined with ANSYS adjoint analysis and CFD, and scan data gave a near-OEM fit. It suits track drivers needing a large rear downforce increase to balance a significant front aero package.
The wing is 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon, autoclave cured with a high-gloss clear finish, on machined billet aluminum uprights and trunk mounts with stainless hardware, and it can generate and withstand more than 500 lbs of downforce. The kit also works on the standard S550 Mustang but needs extra modification and a trunk bracket.
