Overview
The UCW rear wing for the Porsche 991 GT3 adds significant rear downforce and is aimed at track drivers who need to balance out a large front aero package. Verus Engineering positioned it between its swan neck high-efficiency wing and the 300mm V1X, and its 250mm curved chord makes more downforce than the high-efficiency wing. The airfoil was optimized with the ANSYS Adjoint Solver and CFD, and the wing can generate and withstand 500+ lbs. It is autoclave-cured 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon in high-gloss clear, bolting to the OEM trunk in place of the stock wing on machined billet aluminum uprights and trunk mounts with stainless hardware.
