V1X Rear Wing Kit - Porsche 981/718 GT4

Overview

This V1X swan neck rear wing for the Porsche 981 and 718 GT4 has a 300mm chord and was developed in CFD as part of a full aero kit. In back-to-back testing on a nearly stock GT4 at just 4 degrees, lap times improved by 3.3 seconds at Laguna Seca and 2.5 seconds at Thunderhill. The wing weighs under 9 lbs, using 2x2 twill, 3k pre-preg carbon fiber with a carbon inner rib and endplates and FEA-analyzed CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum uprights. It offers 15 angles from -1 to 14 degrees, handles 700+ lbs of downforce at 120 mph, and mounts like the factory wing with no permanent modifications.
