Overview
The Ventus 1 package is an entry-level aero kit for the ND Miata MX-5 that adds downforce without much drag. A rear diffuser generates the downforce, while flat underbody panels and rear suspension covers give it cleaner airflow, and side splitters keep high-pressure air from getting under the car. Carbon fiber dive planes shift the aero balance slightly forward.
The dive planes are 2x2 twill pre-preg carbon that attach with 3M tape. The diffuser, suspension covers, and underbody panels are CFD-optimized 5052 aluminum, laser cut, press brake bent, and powder coated black, while the side splitters are plastic cut in-house in Indianapolis. Stainless hardware and templates are included.
